Computech, a Bethesda, MD-based IT company, names Chris Mills its CFO and COO
Computech, Inc., an IT company that uses innovative Lean, Agile and other methodologies to deliver increased results at lower costs for its federal government clients, has named Chris Mills as its new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
Mills brings more than 25 years of government sector experience to his new posts. Prior to working at Computech, he served as president and chief financial officer of CyberCore Technologies, a government contractor that specialized in serving the Intelligence Community. During his tenure at CyberCore, the company grew more than 300 percent, says a news release issued by Computech on Feb. 25.
“We are delighted to have Chris on board,” said Computech President Lawrence Fitzpatrick. “His track record of success, both professionally and personally, attracted us. We look forward to where this transition will take us.”
Mills earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics/finance from East Carolina University. He also earned an MBA degree from Strayer University. He replaces Fran De Venoge as Computech’s CFO. De Venoge will retire at the end of February after 10 years of service at Computech.
