CISA hosts industry engagement event on using AI for emergency comms

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Office of the Chief Acquisition Executive (OCAE) will host its April industry engagement event on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 1:30 to 2:30 pm ET.

Join OCAE for a discussion on how AI is used for CISA’s mission and Emergency Communications. CISA’s Emergency Communications Division (ECD) will discuss the ways Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are assessed and used to enhance the communication network of an Emergency Communications Center, as well as the importance of Information Sharing Framework (ISF) Service platform for emergency communications. CISA’s Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) will share a brief look at how the agency is responsibly governing and using AI internally to support CISA’s mission.

The FY2024 CISA Future Forward Series ignites innovative capabilities through engagement with industry. The series highlights various topics that focus on CISA’s current defined technologies of interest.

All events will be virtual, via Microsoft Teams. After registering, attendees can join the webinar on their desktop or mobile device. To join without a Microsoft account, select the web browser option.
