Chris Hickey tapped as vice president of services and support solutions at Elbit Systems of America
Elbit Systems of America, LLC announced on October 6 that Chris Hickey has been named vice president of its services and support solutions. With over 25 years of experience in aerospace and technology industries including a diverse background in defense, civil, and international markets, Hickey will oversee Elbit’s aircraft modernization and sustainment facility in San Antonio, TX, its product support sites in Fort Worth, TX, and in Woensdrecht, Netherlands and logistics support and obsolesce management center in Talladega, AL.
Hickey’s is also responsible for customer service and product support related to the Merlin and Metro commuter aircraft, for which Elbit holds the Type Certificates.
The services and support solutions provides logistics, sustainment, modernization and upgrade solutions to its military and commercial customers. With a focus on fixed and rotary wing aircraft and land vehicles, Elbit Systems of America provides a full range of product and service offerings including design, development, repairs, engineering, supply chain management, contractor operated main base supply, contractor logistics support, life cycle contractor support, and avionics modernization.

Hickey holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
