By Light Professional IT Services LLC of Arlington, VA announced on June 13 the following leadership appointments effective immediately, with each intended to reinforce and expand both current and future capabilities.
Mike Bowser is promoted to chief operating officer (COO) of the company.
Bowser joined By Light in 2004, and most recently was senior vice president for
DoD and Federal Civilian Programs, where he led business development and
operations for that group as well as initiating and managing By Light’s Quality
Management System, SATCOM, and Integration lines of business. In his new role, Bowser
will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring excellence in
program execution as well as focusing on customer and employee satisfaction.
Mike Hatcher joined By Light in April as chief revenue officer (CRO),
with heavy emphasis on strategy, business development, and corporate growth
across the organization. Hatcher comes to By Light following a 30-year career
in defense, security, and intelligence businesses, as an executive at premier
firms including GDIT, SAIC, EDS, and E-Systems (Raytheon/L-3). As CRO, Hatcher
will drive development of new capabilities, and help to accelerate growth in
each of By Light’s businesses and markets.
