Brad Haselhorst to lead strategy and business development for Rockwell Collins’ Government Systems business
Rockwell Collins announced on May 11 that Brad Haselhorst has been promoted to vice president, Strategy and Business Development for the Cedar Rapids, IA-based company’s Government Systems business. He succeeds Dave Nieuwsma who was appointed to head the company’s Information Management Services business.
Haselhorst’s responsibilities include leading the marketing and sales organization for Government Systems, as well as overall strategy development. In addition, Haselhorst will continue with site leadership responsibilities for the company’s Richardson, Texas, facility. He reports to Phil Jasper, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Government Systems for Rockwell Collins.
“Brad’s in-depth customer relationships, product knowledge and insight make him the right fit for this role, especially as we continue to look for opportunities to position our product portfolio for global growth in the years to come,” said Jasper.
Previously, Haselhorst was senior director, sales and business development operations, a position he held since May 2013. He was also senior director of VIP/special mission & fighter/bomber/trainer solutions, Government Systems, with full responsibility for profit and loss, customer relationship management, program execution, and new business pursuits for the life cycle value stream.
Haselhorst holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from The University of Iowa, a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Master of Science degree in national resource strategy from National Defense University, Washington, DC.
