Army RCO announces signal classification challenge
On April 27, the U.S. Army announced the Rapid Capabilities Office Signal Classification Challenge.
This special notice announcement is for conducting an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Signal Classification challenge in support of the Army Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO). The Army RCO desires to incentivize Participants in providing new ideas and promoting innovation in the AI Signal Classification domain. Specifically, the Army RCO is in pursuit of innovative solutions for fighting in an increasingly dense electromagnetic environment against adversaries with well-developed electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. The Army RCO intends to make Prize awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place submissions in accordance with the criteria outlined in the attached special notice announcement.
The challenge submission period will be open from April 30, 2018 until July 30, 2018. However, the Government reserves the right to modify the open period and may introduce hurdle submission periods throughout the challenge. Any modifications to the open period or introduction of hurdle submission periods will be publicized by amending this notice and publishing updates on FBO and Challenge.gov (http://www.challenge.gov/challenge/army-signal-classification-challenge).

Requests for proposals will be by invitation only to selected participants.
