Army posts Combined Operation and Intelligence Center sources sought
On May 3, the U.S. Army posted a sources sought notice for US Army South COIC Lifecycle Replacement (Solicitation Number: W912CL18R0004). Responses are due by May 14.
The 410th Contracting Support Brigade, on behalf of US Army South, is seeking potential sources to perform a lifecycle replacement of IT, telecom, and AV equipment for the Combined Operations and Intelligence Center (COIC) at Ft. Sam Houston, TX in accordance with the attached PWS. We are also attempting to identify interested and capable small businesses for this effort.
Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform a lifecycle upgrade to the US Army South Combined Operations and Integration Center (COIC) as defined in this PWS except for those items specified as government furnished property (GFP) and government furnished services (GFS). The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
Background: United States Army South (ARSOUTH) utilizes a number of Audio/Visual (AV) information systems and technologies on a daily basis in order to carry out its mission. There is a requirement to conduct secure and non-secure briefings, which often include VideoTeleconference (VTC) calls between geographically dispersed locations, agencies, and organizations. ARSOUTH requires the ability to conduct VTC sessions over two different classified IP networks. Current equipment in the Combined Operation and Intelligence Center (COIC) have reached the end of their life cycle, and require replacement.
