Army opens registration for T&E/S&T program industry/academia days

Army seal 112On December 18, the United States Army posted the following notice announcing open registration for the Test and Evaluation/Science and Technology (T&E/S&T) Program Industry/Academia Days meeting, February 2-4, 2016.

The T&E/S&T Program is a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation Budget Activity 3, Advanced Technology Development program. The T&E/S&T Program performs technical risk reduction for next generation test capabilities and enables technology insertion to modernize DoD test ranges and laboratories in pace with weapon system advancements. The T&E/S&T Program matures test technologies from proofs of concept (i.e., Technology Readiness Level 3) up to prototype demonstrations in a relevant test environment (i.e., Technology Readiness Level 6) for test capabilities designed to verify the war fighting performance of the nation’s most advanced weapon systems. The T&E/S&T Program is managed by the Test Resource Management Center, a DoD Field Activity that directly reports to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, and is organized into eight Test Technology Areas:

1) Advanced Instrumentation Systems Technology
2) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) and Software Intensive Systems Test
3) Cyberspace Test Technology
4) Directed Energy Test
5) Electronic Warfare Test
6) High Speed Systems Test
7) Spectrum Efficient Technology
8) Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Test

The purpose of this event is to increase awareness of contracting opportunities among researchers and developers in Academia, Industry, and Government.

Once you have registered, you will have access to additional meeting information, including the agenda. You can also request a private session with the T&E/S&T Program Manager (PM), or any of the Test Technology Area Executing Agents (EAs). You may request sessions with more than one of the EAs based on your interests in respective technology areas. Please note that requests for meetings do not constitute a confirmation that you will be allotted a private session with the PM or an EA and do not guarantee a session during your requested time.

We will be conducting numerous concurrent technical forums throughout Industry/Academia Days. You are encouraged to view the full program agenda on the website to determine the appropriate representation from your organization to maximize your productivity and knowledge acquired during Industry/Academia Days.

Registration for this event is required, but there is no attendance fee. Registration is now available at: www.trmc-test.org/I-A_Days
