On July 6, the U.S. Army posted a request for information (RFI) to identify alternate sources for Joint Tactical Terminal – Next Generation (JTT-NG) systems hardware components production, technical data (hardware and source code), technical support, spare parts and sustainment services. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on July 20.
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APFG) and Program Manager Intelligence System and Analytics (PM IS&A) are conducting market research to identify potential alternate sources capable of supporting the production of Joint Tactical Terminal – Next Generation (JTT-NG) systems, including the incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), using Government-provided technical data. This RFI is issued solely for planning and market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. Responses will assist the Government in assessing industry capability, refining acquisition strategies, and evaluating options to reduce production lead times.
The Government is planning to extend the current seven-year IDIQ contract W56KGY-20-D-0013 for an additional three years to support continued production. To reduce schedule risk and plan for future requirements, the Government seeks industry feedback regarding the ability to manufacture JTT-NG Terminal using existing technical drawings, documentation, and associated software source code and/or executables.
Review the Joint Tactical Terminal RFI.
