Amyx announces DoD cybersecurity, IT wins
On May 19, Reston, VA-based cybersecurity and systems integrator Amyx, Inc. continues to support DoD organizations with complex cyber security challenges and service desk support. Amyx announced the recent award of two new contracts: a cybersecurity contract at a critical Defense organization in addition to continued support for DLA’s Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Help Desk. With 36 task orders awarded on the DLA JETS vehicle, Amyx continues to support mission success as a trusted partner to DLA.
Under the first award, Amyx will be supporting the DoD client with technical and professional A&A support services, systems management, and cyber security documentation for all information technology, operational technology, networking, communications, safety, surveillance, and critical infrastructure software, systems, and applications (Unclassified/Classified).
The second award, DAI Help Desk Support, continues Amyx’s proud history helping drive transformation for financial management capabilities across the DoD. In this role, Amyx will work closely with DAI’s 27 end user agencies utilizing the Oracle EBS functionality, providing Tiers 2 and 3 support while continuing to leverage new technologies supporting automation.
William Schaefer, president and CEO of Amyx, Inc., said, “Amyx is honored to be a trusted partner supporting the success of DLA’s worldwide mission for the past 23 years and specifically to DAI, a program we have been partnered with for several years now. Having a role in supporting DAI’s continued roll out and in assisting with financial transformation across the DoD is something we don’t take lightly. We are “all in” on these efforts. We’re also excited to expand our cyber security and operational technology support to DoD organizations, helping bring some of our best and brightest to combat the increased threat to our nation’s critical infrastructure.”
