Air Force to hold 2018 AFLCMC FMS Sensors Industry Day and Expo

On March 29, the U.S. Air Force posted a notice about the upcoming 2018 AFLCMC FMS Sensors Industry Day and Expo.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance/Special Operations Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate, Sensors and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Division (WIN) are hosting the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Sensors Industry Day, with a date of  May 22-23, 2018. For planning purposes, we are gathering information on potential businesses or commercial entities that may be interested in participating in the Industry Day.

Please include your company name, point of contact information, the number of potential attendees, potential to demonstrate capabilities on-site with a table top presence, and indicate whether US or non-US business entity. State in the subject line: FMS Sensors Industry Day/Company.

The FMS Sensors Industry Day is an event in the Sensors Division (AFLCMC/WIN) designed for presentations and discussions of current/future FMS requirements and issues, offering a venue for dialogue between AFLCMC and defense contractors. the conference is a two-day event with perspectives on current foreign military sales trends in Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Division, as well as government processes for streamlining business with defense.

The First day for the event will be presentations by AFLCMC/WIN to the Defense Contractors on our processes, trends and issues.

The Second day will be an ISR Expo that will allow the Defense Contractors to display their products to a large audience, including AFLCMC/WIN, Air Force Security Assistance Center Directorate (AFSAC-D), and local Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs).

During the Expo it is desired to have the Defense contractors meet individually with AFLCMC/WIN Leadership to discuss the company’s on-going business and forecasted work over the next 12-24 months. The basic structure of the event will be a plenary session and a technology exposition.
