Air Force seeks sources for carousel crypto engine decrypt application specific integrated circuit
On August , the United States Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division posted a sources sought notice for Carousel crypto engine decrypt application specific integrated circuit (Solicitation Number: FA8307-15-R-0224). Capabilities packages are due by email no later than 4:00pm Central Time on 25 August.
The purpose of this Sources Sought is to locate companies capable of and interested in manufacturing the CCE Decrypt Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) to continue meeting National Security Agency (NSA) requirements for Communications Security (COMSEC) hardware products that are certified NSA Type 1 COMSEC products. The CCE is a new product that provides the capability to secure Space Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) for current and future Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and other Government agency space satellite systems.
All packages received within fifteen days after date of posting of this synopsis will be reviewed and considered by the Government. This RFI seeks to find potential vendors that may produce the CCE Program’s team requirement available to companies that may be interested. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor’s capability to provide these products.
