On September 1, GRVTY announced that it has appointed Stephen Finney as chief growth officer. In this role, Finney will align GRVTY’s growth strategy across the enterprise, connecting customer missions, technology, and investment to accelerate growth and scale the company’s differentiated capabilities across the defense and intelligence communities.
Finney brings more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and leading businesses across the defense and intelligence markets, with a track record of driving growth across complex national security missions. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of defense & intelligence at Parsons, where he led business development across the company’s defense and intelligence portfolio, expanding into new markets and positioning mission-critical capabilities against emerging customer priorities.
“Steve brings the combination of market leadership, strategic thinking, and disciplined execution that will be critical as GRVTY enters its next phase of growth,” said Katie Selbe, GRVTY’s chief executive officer. “He understands how to connect customer needs, technology, and investment to enable scalable growth across the national security market. We’re excited to have him on our executive leadership team as we build for what’s ahead.”
Throughout his career, Finney has held senior growth and operational leadership positions at other industry leaders, including, Parsons, Polaris Alpha, EOIR Technologies, and Booz Allen Hamilton. He has also led strategic capture and growth initiatives spanning cyber, electronic warfare, artificial intelligence and machine learning, space-based command and control, and other critical national security missions.
“GRVTY has built strong momentum around technologies that address critical national security challenges,” said Finney. “I’m excited to join the team and help build on that foundation, connecting our highly differentiated capabilities to customer missions, creating new opportunities to scale, and accelerating how we bring mission-relevant technologies to customers.”
