A-T Solutions, an intelligence tech company, opens counter-terrorism, facility in Spotsylvania, VA
A-T Solutions Inc., a counterterrorism supplier based in Vienna, VA, announced on June 20 that it is expanding its presence in Spotsylvania County, VA, by moving into and renovating a 43,350-square-foot operations and warehouse facility there that is expected to open by the end of August.
“We look forward to expanding our operations, as well as our connection with the Spotsylvania County community, which is a great place for employers, employees and families.”
“The new warehouse will merge three existing warehouse facilities, allowing us to increase our capabilities and the efficiency of our operations,” said Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of A-T Solutions. “It will also have a tremendous positive impact on our employees and customers. We look forward to expanding our operations, as well as our connection with the Spotsylvania County community, which is a great place for employers, employees and families.”
The facility, which the company anticipates beginning construction on in June, will become the central location for A-T Solutions’ Mission Support Division, an ISO 9001:2008-certified team responsible for specialized equipment acquisition, testing and evaluation, storage and global deployments in support of its government customers’ counterterrorism needs in the U.S. and around the world.
The division also has an engineering and manufacturing component that builds more than 15,000 training devices per year and produces specialized mission-focused kits used by law enforcement, the Department of Defense, the Department of State, first responders and U.S.-allied nations. This centralized facility is critical to supporting A-T Solutions’ continuing growth into new markets related to special operations, counter narcotics, irregular warfare, transportation and customs and border protection.
The new A-T Solutions location will offer scalable office areas and secure inventory space and is environmentally controlled throughout to ensure safer and more efficient operations. A new training classroom, demonstration room and showroom will also be added to the building.
The commercial real estate deal was developed over the past two years with support from the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Authority.
