Navy postpones expected C4ISR Electronic Systems and Subsystems procurement
On July 15, the Naval Air Systems Command posted the following update for the C4ISR Electronic Systems and Subsystems procurement (Solicitation Number: N00421-15-R-0015).
The procurement is designed to provide support to NAWCAD Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division (4.11.4), for Operational and Maintenance support for various Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Electronic Systems and Subsystems (ES). The services will support rapid design, development, prototyping, modification, integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, procurement, fabrication, and maintenance/logistics support of C4ISR ES.
This message serves to update all interested parties in the release of the Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Electronic Systems and Subsystems solicitation. The Government originally expected the release to occur during the 3rd quarter (April-June) of the 2013 fiscal year; then updated the anticipated release of the C4ISR solicitation to Industry during the 4th quarter (July-September) of the 2015 fiscal year.
The Government does not intend to release the RFP as previously stated. The Government will post an update when a new anticipated release date has been determined.
The Government acknowledges the numerous delays experienced during this procurement and genuinely appreciates your continued patience and support during the acquisition process.
