Parsons welcomes Marianne Meins as VP, division BD manager

Parsons 112Parsons of Pasadena, CA announced on July 14 that Marianne Meins has joined the corporation as Vice President, Division Business Development (BD) Manager, for the National Security Division within its government services business unit.

“We are delighted that Marianne will be part of our national security team,” stated Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons Group President. “Her extensive background leading business development initiatives and depth of knowledge of both the political and technological aspects of national security will be valuable assets as we pursue new work in this market.”

Meins brings to this position more than 25 years of experience leading national security mission initiatives supporting intelligence, defense, and homeland security leadership, and technology development supporting both the federal government and private industry. She has broad experience in strategic planning and BD, as well as technical expertise in areas including cybersecurity, information assurance, decision support solutions engineering, and modeling and simulation.

Meins holds a master’s degree in computer science from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics/scientific programming from the University of California, San Diego.
