ManTech awarded task order to provide interoperable intelligence capabilities to the Marines
The U.S. Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (IAC), managed by the Defense Technical Information Center, has awarded Fairfax, VA-based ManTech International Corporation a task order under its Defense Systems Technical Area Task contract to provide research, development, test, and evaluation support to the U.S. Marine Corps’ Program Manager Marine Intelligence (PMMI). The task order has a 5-year period of performance with a contract ceiling of $39.8 million, ManTech announced May 27.
Under the task order, ManTech will provide expertise in research, engineering, science, technology, development, and integration to support PMMI’s mission to provide enhanced integrated and interoperable intelligence capabilities to Marine Corps operating forces. The majority of the work will be performed at ManTech facilities adjacent to the Quantico Marine Corps Base.
“The Marine Corps is at the forefront of our nation’s defense, and PMMI is charged with maintaining the Corps’ tactical intelligence superiority,” said Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group. “ManTech has provided IT, intelligence, and logistics solutions to the U.S. military for over 40 years, and we look forward to continuing that support with the U.S. Marine Corps.”
