On October 27, CACI International Inc announced that it has been awarded a four-year task order valued at up to $145 million to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in advancing next-generation maritime capabilities for the U.S. Navy.
Under the award, CACI will develop and integrate advanced technologies for autonomous systems, maritime sensors, and next-generation naval platforms. This work will help the Navy improve fleet readiness, strengthen operational flexibility, and maintain maritime superiority against evolving threats.
“Maintaining maritime superiority requires the ability to turn emerging technologies into operational capabilities faster,” said John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer. “Our work will help the Navy get critical technologies into the hands of warfighters sooner, giving them the capabilities they need to make better decisions and stay ahead of emerging threats.”
CACI will conduct research, engineering, testing, and rapid prototyping across multiple maritime platforms. The work includes evaluating new technologies, validating their performance, and integrating successful solutions into operational systems.
