Gunnison and BMC Helix to co-develop CyberFusion

On March 5, Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc. announced a strategic collaboration with BMC Helix, Inc. to deliver integrated, AI‑driven cybersecurity and IT operations capabilities to U.S. federal agencies.

Through this collaboration, Gunnison and BMC Helix are co‑developing the CyberFusion Platform, an asset‑centric cyber and IT operations solution powered by BMC Helix. CyberFusion leverages advanced Agentic AI to unify security and operational workflows, providing agencies with a single, continuously updated view of their assets, mission roles, and real‑time security posture.

Designed to address growing federal mandates around zero trust, asset visibility, and cyber resilience, the CyberFusion Platform enables agencies to proactively identify, predict, and respond to threats. By correlating multi‑source telemetry across security and IT operations, the platform accelerates mean‑time‑to‑response and improves mission assurance. Agencies gain the ability to confidently answer foundational cyber operational questions, including: Are these all of our assets? What mission roles do they support? And what is their current cybersecurity posture?

“Federal agencies are seeking a single authoritative source of asset truth that is dynamically updated and trusted across both IT operations and security teams,” said Gil Dussek, chief executive officer of Gunnison. “Our collaboration with BMC Helix combines Gunnison’s proven cyber and operations mission‑delivery success across organizations such as the U.S. Marine Corps, Department of State, Health and Human Services, the Federal Courts, and the Department of the Interior, combined with BMC Helix’s Unified System Context, open AI‑extensible architecture, and FedRAMP‑authorized platform capabilities, brings together execution and innovation to deliver an operationally contextualized view of risk, exposure, and control status.”

“BMC Helix is proud to build upon our success with Gunnison to help federal customers modernize securely,” said David Sims, vice president, North American public sector, BMC Helix. “By aligning BMC Helix’s agentic AI with Gunnison’s mission‑driven delivery teams, we are automating and accelerating security‑driven operational processes, enabling more proactive cyber defense and operational efficiency across government.”
