Aretum achieves CMMC Level 2

Aretum announced in February that it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 with 100% compliance, following a rigorous independent assessment conducted by The CMMC Team, an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

According to the company, this significant milestone underscores Aretum’s deep commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and strengthening its cybersecurity posture in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) and broader federal missions. By earning CMMC Level 2 certification early, Aretum establishes itself as a  trusted partner to the federal government, well-positioned to support sensitive, mission-critical programs that demand the highest levels of cybersecurity assurance. Aretum is now at the top 0.5% tier of defense and federal contractors operating under CMMC requirements.

CMMC 2.0 is the DoD’s framework for securing the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) against evolving cyber threats. Through the successful completion of the Level 2 assessment, Aretum has demonstrated its full compliance with all 110 security requirements defined in NIST Special Publication 800-171, validating the maturity of its cybersecurity controls, governance, and operational discipline.

“This accomplishment is a direct reflection of who we are as an organization,” said Marian Dawoud, Aretum’s director of IT. “At Aretum, our mission is to deliver exceptional, customer-centric services and solutions that contribute to the nation’s growth and security. Achieving CMMC Level 2 reinforces our commitment to empowering our customers to meet mission-critical objectives while continuously elevating our people through innovation, excellence, and accountability.”
