HawkEye 360 announces 2025 advisory board members

On March 11, HawkEye 360 Inc., announced the latest members of its advisory board for the class of 2025. These distinguished individuals bring expertise in national security, defense, intelligence, and policy, further strengthening HawkEye 360’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge RF intelligence solutions, according to the company.

Admiral (Ret.) Scott Swift has been appointed as the new chairman of the HawkEye 360 advisory board. With decades of leadership experience in naval operations and strategy, Swift will provide the board with key oversight and strategic direction as it supports the company’s mission to enhance global security through advanced RF data analytics.

New advisory board members:

Admiral (Ret.) Mike Gilday
Admiral Mike Gilday is the CEO of Crossover Solutions National Security USA, a consultancy focused on enhancing manufacturers’ performance in the defense industrial base supply chain. He also serves on advisory boards for private equity and high-tech firms. Retiring as the 32nd Chief of Naval Operations in 2023, Gilday’s 38-year naval career included command at every level, leadership roles on the Joint Staff, The White House, NATO, and U.S. Cyber Command, and international collaborations to strengthen allied interoperability. He was pivotal in the historic AUKUS partnership and worked closely with industry leaders in shipbuilding, aviation production, and emerging technologies such as AI and quantum computing. Gilday is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds master’s degrees from Harvard’s Kennedy School and the National War College.

Christopher C. Miller
Chris Miller is a seasoned national security professional with military, intelligence, and civilian leadership roles. He served as the Acting Secretary of Defense from November 2020 to January 2021 and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer for DZYNE Technologies, a defense technology company specializing in autonomous flight. A retired U.S. Army Special Forces Colonel, Miller also held key roles in the Department of Defense and the National Security Council, focusing on counterterrorism and irregular warfare. He authored the book, Soldier-Secretary: Warnings from the Battlefield & the Pentagon about America’s Most Dangerous Enemies.

Rear Admiral (Ret.) Mike Studeman
Mike Studeman, the former Commander of the Office of Naval Intelligence and a retired two-star Admiral, is one of the nation’s leading national security professionals. He has extensive global experience in intelligence, foreign policy, and defense matters. He is an internationally recognized expert on Asian affairs, with deep expertise on China. Mike is a MITRE National Security Fellow and serves on the Board of Advisors for the National Bureau of Asian Research, DTEX, and HawkEye 360. He is also a Senior Advisor at WestExec.

Renewing advisory board members:

The following esteemed advisors have renewed their commitment to serve another term on the HawkEye 360 Advisory Board, continuing to provide invaluable guidance and expertise:

Admiral (Ret.) Scott Swift – Chairman of the Advisory Board
Scott Swift served in the U.S. Navy for more than 40 years as a light attack and strike fighter pilot, commanding at all levels, including Carrier Strike Group and the U.S. Seventh Fleet. He retired as the 35th Commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet in 2018 and is the founder of The Swift Group LLC.

Senator Norm Coleman
Norm Coleman is a former U.S. Senator from Minnesota and an attorney specializing in U.S. federal regulatory policy. With extensive experience in state and federal politics, he has served as a chief prosecutor, state solicitor general, and mayor of Saint Paul. Coleman is a recognized leader in policy and regulatory affairs.

Senator Joe Donnelly
Joe Donnelly represented Indiana in Congress for 12 years, serving on key committees, including the Armed Services Committee. His expertise in defense policy and public affairs brings valuable insights to HawkEye 360. He currently works with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, advising on financial services, defense, and healthcare industries.

Art Money
Art Money has an extensive career in defense electronics and intelligence, serving as the former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (ASD (C3I)). He has worked with various companies developing intelligence, signal processing, and information technologies for military and civilian applications.

Congressman Mac Thornberry
Mac Thornberry, former Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, represented Texas in Congress for 26 years. He was instrumental in modernizing defense acquisition and integrating commercial innovation into military capabilities. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
