Sev1Tech wins SSC meshONE-T follow-on contract
Space Systems Command’s (SSC) Tactical C3 Acquisition Delta recently awarded a $188 million follow-on production agreement to Sev1Tech, LLC for the expansion of the meshONE-Terrestrial (meshONE-T) network.
meshONE-T is a scalable, resilient, and cyber-secure Wide Area Network designed for high-speed, IP-based data transport across various locations and conflict conditions. Supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF), the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and other mission partners, meshONE-T enhances warfighting capabilities by securely and efficiently connecting data producers and data consumers, providing diversified communication paths built on modern technology and industry standards.
This follow-on effort is part of the Department of Defense’s Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) initiative, which aims to unify platforms and weapons across all military services and key foreign partners under a single network. meshONE-T contributes to this vision by breaking down data-sharing barriers, ensuring interoperability within the Department of the Air Force’s Battle Network, and facilitating the seamless movement of large volumes of high-performance data.
The new agreement will expand meshONE-T services to over 85 locations, enhancing its capabilities with 24/7/365 managed transport services and enterprise-wide upgrades. Since its prototype phase began in September 2021, meshONE-T has demonstrated significant operational utility for both the USSF and the U.S. Air Force (USAF), laying a strong foundation for this next phase of development. This contract underscores the strong demand for meshONE-T’s continued expansion, supporting critical mission operations and future system development.
