Zscaler launches new GovCloud offerings
On September 4, Zscaler, Inc. announced a series of innovations to their GovCloud offerings that will help Federal agencies maintain operational efficiency, uphold national security, and adhere to strict regulatory and compliance requirements and mandates, such as the Federal Zero Trust Strategy and Executive Order 14028. As cyber threats increase in complexity and persistence, agencies can no longer rely on traditional security measures to ensure sensitive government data is protected.
Zscaler’s GovClouds, authorized at both FedRAMP Moderate and High, are dedicated cloud infrastructures designed specifically for government agencies with strict compliance requirements. By harnessing critical technologies, like AI, for improved efficiency and user experience, Zscaler’s GovClouds also provide protected and isolated environments for handling sensitive data and ensure that agencies can stay ahead of emerging threats. Agencies can securely access the internet and cloud applications while adhering to government-specific regulations and maintaining the highest levels of data protection.
“Zscaler’s GovCloud was the first zero trust cloud security solution to achieve FedRAMP authorization, and we’ve continued to innovate for government customers ever since,” said Niraj Gopal, head of product management, federal and sovereign clouds, Zscaler. “By continuously enhancing our GovCloud offerings, we are empowering agencies to securely and effectively navigate their digital transformation journeys, and adapt to a new cyber landscape where unrelenting attacks are the norm.”
“Carahsoft is proud to partner with Zscaler in their mission to revolutionize cybersecurity for federal agencies. The innovative enhancements in Zscaler’s GovCloud offerings are a testament to their commitment to securing sensitive government data while ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards. Together, we are empowering government agencies to stay ahead of emerging threats and achieve their digital transformation goals with confidence,” said Steve Jacyna, director, emerging cybersecurity solutions, Carahsoft.
