MTEQ adds George Stone as director of training, testing, and evaluation
MTEQ of Lorton, VA announced on August 9 its new director of training, testing and evaluation, Dr. George Stone III. Dr. Stone comes to MTEQ with over 37 years of U.S. DoD and Army experience in modeling, simulation, and training. He will be reporting to Aydin Mohtashamian, VP of services and rapid development.
Within the U.S. Army and DoD, he has held positions such as director of the Army Modeling and Simulation Office and the Joint Warfare System technical director for major military acquisition simulations programs, making major contributions to our nation’s readiness for operations.
Dr. Stone has extensive experience with strategy, mission command, and simulations for all domains in analysis, training, experimentation, testing, evaluation, and planning. His experiences have been with the DoD Joint Staff, OSD, Army G-3, Army G-8 MC, AMSO Director, TRADOC G-3, NATO, FEMA, CDC, and DHS for training, information technology, operations, and analysis. He most recently ran and managed a company that performed simulation development, strategic planning, mission command, mobile applications, learning portfolios, and simulation consulting for DoD, FEMA and other governmental agencies.
