Army posts Airborne Reconnaissance Low sources sought

On June 26, the U.S. Army posted a sources sought notice for Airborne Reconnaissance Low – Enhanced Base Contract Modification (Solicitation Number: W56KGY16D0001). Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on July 16.

Program Manager, Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PM SAI) has a requirement to Modify the Base Contract Number W56KGY-16-D-0001 for the Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) for additional program efforts. Product Director Airborne Reconnaissance Low (PD ARL) has a requirement to extend the ordering period for three years for additional Mission Equipment Packages (MEPs). In addition, the PD ARL requires the addition of the field support to be performed Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), the addition of aircraft maintenance and repair, and the addition of aircraft pilot support. Contract Number W56KGY-16-D-0001 is currently providing this requirement. This contract modification will be made to the base contract and will be reflected in applicable Task Orders.
The Government has a requirement for additional ordering periods for the Product Director Airborne Reconnaissance Low (PD ARL Mission Equipment Packages (MEPs). In addition, the PD ARL requires the addition of the field support to be performed Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), the addition of aircraft maintenance and repair, and the addition of aircraft pilot and operator support.
The Government is considering extending the current ordering period on the ongoing contract and adding the above described expanded scope. The Government will also consider if any other sources can provide this capability. If interested, the Government is requesting contractors to provide sufficient information in the form of a white paper which demonstrates capability and experience in providing the Product Director Airborne Reconnaissance Low (PD ARL) ARL-E configuration Mission Equipment Packages (MEPs), field support to be performed Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), the addition of aircraft maintenance and repair, and the addition of aircraft pilot support. In addition, interested contractors should provide sufficient information on how they could also support the interoperability, obsolescence management and technology refresh of the ARL-M systems. Interested sources are requested to submit a brief Summary of Demonstrated Capabilities. In addition, interested sources must address the Market Survey Questionnaire.
