FedData appoints Todd Doherty as senior executive for information technology services
Federal Data Systems (FedData) announced on August 16 the appointment of Todd Doherty as senior executive within its Information Technology Services business line. Doherty joins FedData after 24 years with the U.S Army, culminating as a Chief Warrant Officer 5.
Doherty’s most recent assignment was as senior technical advisor to the director for command, control, communications and computers (C4) / cyber, chief information officer, Joint Staff J6. In this position, he was directly responsible for advising the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was an integral part of the creation of the Cyber Security Scorecard and the move to consolidated, enterprise IT services across the department.
Prior to the Joint Staff J6, Doherty served in a wide range of military positions to include support to the United States Army Special Operations Command, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), the 93d Signal Brigade, the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific.
He is a 2017 FCW Federal 100 recipient and a 2016 Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA) Military IT Leadership awardee.
