Zscaler launches new GovCloud capabilities

From safeguarding classified information to ensuring uninterrupted mission-critical operations, protecting the nation’s most sensitive systems requires more than just technology—it requires trust. At the heart of this trust lie GovClouds, a set of platforms designed to empower public sector and DoD leaders with the tools they need to stay one step ahead of cyber adversaries while simplifying compliance with some of the world’s most stringent regulatory standards.

Zscaler has announced the launch of several products and features for Zscaler’s GovCloud, specifically designed to empower government agencies and defense organizations to protect sensitive data, combat cyber threats, adhere to stringent compliance standards, and embrace zero trust security principles. With these new capabilities, GovCloud users can unlock higher levels of operational efficiency, scalability, and security—delivering services with the confidence needed to support missions of national importance, the company said.

New products include:

  • GenAI DLP Protection: Safeguards sensitive information used within generative AI tools, ensuring compliance and preventing accidental data exposure.
  • Endpoint DLP: Prevents unauthorized data transfers from endpoints such as laptop and desktop devices.
  • Workflow Automation: Streamlines security operations through automated workflows that support incident response and zero trust deployment, saving time and improving accuracy.
  • Email DLP: Protects outbound communication by identifying and preventing leaks of sensitive or classified information via email systems.
  • Deception: Leverages cutting-edge deception technology to confuse and slow attackers, enabling agencies to maintain high availability and respond to threats effectively.
  • Cloud Connector Multi-session VDI: Facilitates secure access to virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) for multiple concurrent sessions, enabling productivity for remote teams while adhering to security principles.
  • Privileged Remote Access (PRA): Allows employees and third parties to connect securely and with full visibility to OT/IoT/IT assets without needing to install any agents.
