Wayne Reed joins Aretum as contracts VP

Aretum, LLC of Bethesda, MD, announced on December 21 that it has  expanded its leadership team by bringing on Wayne Reed as the vice president (VP) of contracts.

With over 24 years of extensive experience in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, Reed brings a wealth of knowledge to Aretum, the company said. Prior to joining Aretum, Reed served as the VP of contracts at Arcfield, where he successfully established a contracts department and supervised a team of five contracts professionals supporting multiple intelligence agencies, the Department of Defense, and commercial product sales. His accomplishments include creating contracts policies and processes, implementing a contracts lifecycle management system, and contributing to the successful completion of Arcfield’s first acquisition.

Prior to his role at Arcfield, Reed held key positions at ManTech, where he served as senior executive director of contracts and subcontracts/deputy to the vice president of contracts and subcontracts, and led a team of approximately 25 contracts/subcontracts professionals. He also held positions as executive director of contracts/subcontracts, director of contracts/subcontracts, and contracts manager during his tenure at ManTech. Additionally, Reed held several positions at CACI Technologies, Inc. and is a veteran who served on active duty in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.

“We are excited to bring Wayne onto the Aretum team.  He is an experienced executive with a long history of driving success in both current operations and new growth ventures, making him well-equipped to lead and optimize Aretum’s contracts team. His proven contractual expertise, experiences, and leadership will greatly contribute to our continued success,” said Aretum CEO Damian DiPippa.
