The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) wants a company — perhaps a small business — to provide visual communications products, including video productions, graphic design, photography and copy center support, at NGA sites in Springfield, VA and St. Louis, MO.

Video – The agency will expect the selected vendor to product approximately 12-15 “full productions” each year, which would run no longer than 5 minutes each; 20-25 “short videos,” which would run 2-3 minutes each and would often employ “talking heads,” and another 20-25 productions annually that might consist of static camera recordings of an event, spots for airing on internal television, etc.

Graphic design – “The contractor shall provide design and layout support, text processing, page mark-up, graphic scanning, graphic design, layout support, large and small format printing, sign making, engraving, mounting and laminating and other creative graphic support as required,” explains the NGA notice.

Photography – Digital photos will include portraits and on-scene photograph (which might include investigations, building maintenance, events, award ceremonies, group photos and photojournalism.)

Copy center support – All printing will be produced on Canon Image Press C7010VP digital presses, including pre-press, in-line folding, punching and binding.

Responses from potential vendors are due by April 4. Further information is available from Emily McLaughlin, a contract specialist, at 571-557-1053 or emily.j.mclaughlin@nga.mil.
