On November 18, Vibrint announced the appointments of John Martin and Skip Maselli as vice presidents of business development. Both leaders bring decades of experience across the national security community and will report to Amy Steinberg, Vibrint’s chief growth officer and senior vice president of strategic operations.
The appointments come as Vibrint continues to build on a period of significant expansion, including three strategic acquisitions in the past two years that have nearly doubled the company’s size and broadened its presence in the defense and intelligence markets.
“Strong business development depth and acumen are essential as Vibrint broadens its presence across the national security community,” Steinberg said. “John and Skip bring deep customer insight, mission understanding, and long-standing experience that will help us connect our combined capabilities with more programs, more missions and more partners.”
“These appointments say a lot about the momentum we’re building at Vibrint and the quality of our team,” said Tom Lash, CEO of Vibrint. “The fact that John and Skip chose Vibrint speaks volumes about our culture, our people, the trajectory we’re on and the impact we are driving at the mission edge. I’m looking forward to working with them as we push into new opportunities and keep delivering solutions that are vital to national security.”
Martin brings more than 25 years of experience in management consulting, engineering and defense services. He began his career as an engineer with the U.S. Department of Defense before advancing into leadership roles across the intelligence and defense communities. Martin is a board member of the Fort Meade Alliance and previously served as CEO of Dynamic Technologies LLC. Earlier in his career, he advanced through roles at ProObject, including president and executive advisor.
Maselli brings decades of experience in growth strategy and ISR, remote sensing, and space technologies. He previously served as general partner in advisory at Thomas & Taylor Partners Holdings, supported national security and aerospace portfolios through Levit8 Advisory, and held a senior growth role at GRVTY advancing space-based ISR initiatives. Maselli began his career as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army.
