On February 2, Valiant Integrated Services announced the appointment of Daniel Simms as chief executive officer.
Simms has had a long history at Valiant, including serving as the vice president of critical mission solutions and most recently in rejoining the firm as Valiant’s chief operating officer. Throughout his career at Valiant, he has driven operational excellence and supported mission-critical programs worldwide, according to the company.
As chief operating officer of Acuity International, Simms led business transformation, strategy development, and Profit & Loss management. In that role, he supported a diverse customer base across the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as a broad portfolio of federal agencies, state governments, and commercial entities, delivering healthcare services, engineering and construction support, base operations, security services, and environmental programs.
“Dan is a proven leader with deep operational experience and a relentless focus on mission success,” said Mike Devoto, board member of Valiant Integrated Services.
A military veteran, Simms’s expertise includes revenue growth, workforce planning, performance improvement, and business transformation. He is a certified Project Management Professional and holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.
“I am honored to lead Valiant,” said Simms. “I look forward to building on our strong foundation, supporting our customers’ missions, and continuing to invest in our people.”
