USAF to hold small biz cybersecurity outreach event

On April 12, the U.S. Air Force posted an invitation to the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Small Business Cybersecurity Dialogue Series Outreach Event (Solicitation Number: AFMC-17-02-SB). The event will take place on April 27. Registration closes at 5:00pm Eastern on April 24.

Small Business Event:  SAVE THE DATE, 27 Apr 2017: Headquarters Air Force Material Command is hosting a Cybersecurity Dialog Series of events during 2017.  The first event will be held on 27 April from 0800-1200 at Wright-State University, Endeavor Room in the Student Union.  There will be two panel discussions with open dialog.  The first panel will be comprised of Government personnel and the second Industry businesses.  This first event will identify and define the cybersecurity terms, discuss challenges, best practices, and lessons learned from the two perspectives in an unclassified environment.  Additionally, the AFMC Small Business offices will be having a table at the Ohio Small Business Matchmaker event the day before.  In particular at the Matchmaker event, there will be opportunities for businesses to share their capabilities with the government.  The follow-on events will focus on cybersecurity topics of interest at events such as Wright-Brothers Industry days, Life Cycle Industry Days, and LOG-IT Days.  Each of the follow-on events will have a small business tract that will provide opportunity for further discussions, matchmaking and job fairs.

Large and small companies interested in Cybersecurity contracting and subcontracting opportunities.  Any vendor interested in doing business with WPAFB is highly encouraged to attend.
