USAF selects Booz Allen for Network-Centric Solutions 2 (NETCENTS) contract
Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, VA announced May 13 that it has been selected by the U.S. Air Force as a prime contractor for the $960 million Network-Centric Solutions 2 (NETCENTS) Application Services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for U.S. Air Force IT programs. The award designates Booz Allen as one of 20 prime contractors eligible to compete for task orders for the life of the IDIQ, which is expected to run through March 2022.

Our team brings to the table the right mix of enterprise integration, engineering, operations, and acquisition expertise to support the Air Force’s efforts to affordably modernize its enterprise architecture.”
The NETCENTS-2 contract provides the Air Force a vehicle to access IT products, services and solutions covering the full spectrum of network-centric operations and mission applications. Booz Allen will develop content delivery and presentation services and new mission applications that operate in network-centric enterprise environments that exploit Service-oriented Architecture infrastructures. The team will support legacy system sustainment, migration and the development of new mission capabilities and applications. Additionally, the contract will provide system integration, security testing and reporting, and application helpdesk and systems operations support to satisfy the Air Force and DoD combat support, command and control, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance requirements worldwide.
Under the NETCENTS-2 contract, Booz Allen will provide the Air Force with a trusted and unbiased partner with Air Force enterprise knowledge, technical expertise in Service-oriented Architecture and software engineering, and the ability to deliver and support software in a net-centric environment. Booz Allen possesses both a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 rating as well as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 20000 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.
