USAF posts DCGS support RFI

On July 21, The U.S. Air Force issued a request for information for support to the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS). Responses are due by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on August 15.

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise and the capabilities to meet the qualification requirements to provide the services needed to support the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) GEOINT, SIGINT and Multi-INT Field Support responsibilities to included: system maintenance, administration, and management for support of the ground operations, (to include sensor management, ground system maintenance while conducting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, and associated Information Technology (IT) Operations administrative and operational support requirements) for the Command and Control, ISR C2ISR enterprise.

The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is the lead Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) System used by intelligence agencies world-wide.  Allowing system upgrades enables the DCGS enterprise network to maintain a high level of Operations Tempo and a high security posture.

The main objective of this contracting effort is the Development, Modernization, Integration, Fielding, Cyber Security and Sustainment activities required to meet AF DCGS Operational Requirements Document (ORD) requirements to maintain compliance with the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Architecture Framework, and the Joint Technical Architecture guidance to the maximum extent possible.  Other DCGS ground and air elements will be supported as directed.

All tasks will be specifically directed by individual Task Descriptions (TD) issued under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract.  Major tasks include program management, Agile project management, material procurement, engineering services, configuration management, data management, software, development, modernization, integration and fielding, and sustainment services, repair activity, sustainment services, data reporting, and travel.
