On September 9, the U.S. Army posted a request for proposals (RFP) for Cyber Security Technology Research Operations and Networks (CYBERTRON). Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on October 14.
The Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division A, on behalf of the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Cyber Security Division (CSD), intends to award a task order under the GSA OASIS+ multiple award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to attain Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) engineering and technical support services for the CSD. CSD supports the ESI Directorate in a broad range of unclassified and classified C5ISR projects and programs in support of the Soldier and the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM).
The Contractor shall provide the following support: research, development, proof of concept, extensive test & evaluation, integration, validation, mission assurance, resilience & software assurance, prototyping, demonstration of cryptographic technologies, COMSEC, transmission security, tactical network protection, key management, cybersecurity, risk assessment, and certification and accreditation to ensure all systems meet stringent DoD, NSA and industry standards.
The Contractor will also oversee information assurance, enterprise network operations, enterprise domain operations, enterprise cyber defense, and develop plans to divest outdated encryption technologies.
