Unissant attains CMMC Level 2

On April 30, Unissant, Inc. announced that it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 with a perfect score and zero findings, following an assessment by an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

CMMC Level 2 requires implementation of cybersecurity practices aligned to NIST SP 800-171 for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information. For organizations supporting federal and defense missions, it is an important benchmark for secure delivery in mission environments.

“Customers trust us to operate in mission environments where security is fundamental,” said Sumeet Shrivastava, CEO of Unissant. “CMMC Level 2 demonstrates that the controls required to execute that mission are in place across Unissant’s environment.”

Unissant applies cybersecurity controls across the environments used to build, deploy, and support mission systems, including AI and data platforms, within a secure and governed framework.

“Safeguarding customer data and information, and protecting the missions they support, is part of how we deliver every day,” said Alka Bhave, Unissant chief operating officer and general manager, national security. “This certification with a perfect score affirms Unissant’s dedication to doing that with excellence.”
