Trey Whitworth tapped as national security president at r4 Federal

r4 Federal announced recently that Vice Admiral Trey Whitworth, USN (Ret.) is joining the company as president of national security.

Vice Admiral Whitworth will lead r4 Federal’s strategic efforts supporting defense and intelligence community partners, focusing on advancing Al, predictive analytics, and operational decision advantage. Vice Admiral Whitworth brings over 36 years of national security leadership to r4 Federal, as a senior officer in the United States Navy and as a leader of the Intelligence Community.

Most recently, he served as the eighth director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), leading one of the nation’s most critical intelligence organizations until his retirement. As director, he led the growth and maturation of NGA Maven, one of the Intelligence Community’s most extensive and impactful applications of AI and machine learning.

With Vice Admiral Whitworth’s appointment, r4 Federal strengthens its commitment to delivering trusted, predictive AI, the company said.
