Trace Systems and LightGrid JV wins spot on DISA SETI

Innovative Government Solutions (IGS) JV has been awarded a spot on the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) premier multi-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract providing Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) to the Department of Defense (DoD). With this restricted pool award, IGS JV (HUBZone) is one of 25 small businesses that will provide complex engineering solutions and services to the DoD to meet current and future mission requirements, Vienna, VA-based Trace Systems announced June 19.

As part of this $7.5 billion program, a restricted pool for small businesses and a full and open unrestricted pool were awarded. DoD services, agencies, and combatant commands can solicit and acquire critical expertise to research, design, develop, integrate, and optimize information technology capabilities and solutions. With a focus on next generation technologies and innovations, DISA will create an environment for disruptive changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the DoD’s information network.

As the mentor in the All Small Mentor Protégé Program (ASMPP) JV, Trace Systems Inc. works closely with Protégé LightGrid (HUBZone), to meet the needs of the warfighter. Trace President Terry Severson, commented on continuing the strong relationship between the two companies with this new win, saying “Trace feels very fortunate to have formed this partnership over three years ago with LightGrid, who has grown from a small, DISA focused integrator, into a formidable industry leader in several market areas.”
