Telos Corporation cheers opening of NETCENTS-2 NetOps small business contract
The Air Force’s NETCENTS-2 Program Office, located at Maxwell Air Force Base Gunter Annex, has opened ordering for seventeen small businesses awarded Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Network Operations and Infrastructure Solutions contracts, Telos Corporation announced July 8. The indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract vehicle has an award ceiling of $5.8 billion.
“NETCENTS-2 will streamline the acquisition process for our government customers,” said Telos Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cyber Operations and Defense, Brendan Malloy. “Together with an outstanding team of industry partners, we are very eager to help them leverage this vehicle to meet their mission requirements.”
Network Operations and Infrastructure Solutions (NetOps) is one of five contract categories included in the overall NETCENTS-2 acquisition. Under the contract, Ashburn, VA-based Telos will compete for task orders to provide network operations, infrastructure, and service-oriented architecture solutions to the United States Air Force and throughout the federal government. In addition to the small business contract, Telos has been awarded the NetOps contract for full and open competition.
The contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options, and task orders can extend three years beyond the last day of the ordering period.
