System High earns CMMC Level 2 certification

On April 24, System High Corporation, a Ridgeline International company, announced that it has been awarded a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program Level 2. This recognition showcases System High prioritizing cybersecurity and ensuring its commitment to safeguarding government information.

The CMMC program aligns with the Department of Defense’s (DoD) existing information security requirements for the defense industrial base. It is designed to enforce the protection of sensitive unclassified information shared by the Department with its contractors and subcontractors.

“Achieving CMMC Level 2 certification is a major win for System High,” said System High President Sarah Lord. “This certification reinforces our commitment to protecting sensitive information and meeting high cybersecurity standards across the defense industrial base. It would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of our IT team, whose tireless efforts earned us a perfect score in the evaluation. Their work not only strengthens the trust our customers place in us every day but also positions System High for future opportunities.”

Level 2 certification assessments assure the DoD that an Organization Seeking Assessment (OSA) can adequately protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) at a level commensurate with the adversarial risk, including protecting information flow with subcontractors in a multi-tier supply chain. According to public reporting and CMMC ecosystem data, it is suggested that the number of organizations certified at the CMMC Level 2 is well under 250 and is likely closer to 150 to 200, based on current published data from the CMMC-AB Marketplace and various tracking dashboards.
