On March 31, Summit 7, a provider of managed security, IT, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), announced four new members of its executive leadership team: VP of managed services, VP of finance, VP of federal and cleared services, and VP of technology and innovation.
“These promotions and hires mark a substantial time of growth in Summit 7’s evolution,” Scott Edwards, CEO of Summit 7, said. “Each of these leaders have distinguished themselves through years of accomplishment in their areas of expertise and are dedicated to delivering the best possible service to our clients.”
Kevin Boucher was promoted internally to VP of technology and innovation. This role is new to Summit 7’s leadership structure, highlighting a strategic investment in operational efficiency and a commitment to customer service. He now leads Summit 7’s efforts to advance internal technological capabilities and foster innovation across the company’s solutions.
Shane Shipley was promoted internally to VP of federal and cleared services where he will drive initiatives serving federal and cleared clients, which is a rapidly growing portion of Summit 7’s customer base.
Armando Ordonez was hired as VP of managed services. Ordonez leads Summit 7’s managed service teams, ensuring high-quality support for Guardian, Vigilance, and Commander clients. These managed service offerings act as extensions to client IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams, with a specialty of guiding them through the complexities of CMMC compliance.
Amanda Patterson was hired as Summit 7’s VP of finance, where she will build long-term financial plans and oversee day-to-day accounting practices.
