State Dept. releases Inspire 2.0 RFI

On August 30, the Department of State issued a request for information (RFI) for Inspire 2.0. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on September 23.

The Intelligence and Research Information Support System (INRISS) is operational for Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) processing and is operational 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year.

The system is continuously evolving to meet the requirements of the INR staff and the Intelligence Community (IC), including a current strategic effort to migrate to a cloud-based network. This evolution of INRISS includes the development and implementation of technology needed to improve output quality, modernize processes, ensure output reliability, and facilitate the rapid dissemination of INR products.

The RFI is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses, with a special interest in Small Business (SB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), HubZone (HUBZ), 8(a), and Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Businesses.

The Government contemplates the use of a Multi Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to establish terms pursuant to the Information Technology Professional Services under Special Item Number (SIN) 54151S and Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services SIN 54151 are available on the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Be advised that acquisition strategy and set-aside decisions may be made based on the information provided in response to this RFI notice.
