SRA awarded prime position on INSCOM GISS contract
SRA International, Inc., a Fairfax, VA-based provider of IT solutions and professional services to government organizations announced April 29 that it was awarded a prime position on the Global Intelligence Support Services (GISS) contract administered by the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). GISS is a $5 billion, multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Unrestricted Pool contract vehicle. SRA was also named as a team mate on the $2.2 billion Restricted Pool GISS IDIQ. The GISS Unrestricted Pool contract has one base year with four option years. The combined pools have a potential ceiling value of $7.2 billion.
Headquartered at Fort Belvoir, VA, INSCOM is a major Army command charged with providing the warfighters the actionable intelligence needed to understand the battlefield and to focus and leverage combat power. INSCOM collects and provides analysis and disseminates intelligence information in all intelligence disciplines.
Under the terms of the contract, SRA will compete for task orders to meet current and future Army Intelligence, Security, and Information Operations requirements by providing support in the following areas: (1) intelligence and security operations; (2) information operations; (3) mission support for facilities management, logistics, training, and intelligence systems support; and (4) sustainment services – including program management, strategic planning, administrative and requirements analysis services.
