SPAWAR C4I program office issues RFI

On March 5, the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) issued the following RFI (Solicitation Number: SPAWAR_Headquarters_MKTSVY_FE0DA). Interested vendors should respond by April 1.
The Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I), Communication and Global Positioning System Navigation Program Office (PMW/A 170), Digital Modular Radio (DMR) program is seeking information on the approach of any interested contractor to provide form- fit replacements for the existing DMR.
The AN/USC-61 DMR is a modular, software re-programmable radio system with embedded cryptography capable of providing communications functionality and interoperability with existing Navy legacy systems and future joint service and coalition communications systems.
