On August 3, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines issued the following statement in response to the Senate’s confirmation of Dr. Stacey Dixon as Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence:

Dr. Dixon is an absolutely extraordinary leader who combines integrity, intelligence, and empathy in everything that she does.
