SAIC awarded subcontract to support USSTRATCOM
Science Applications International Corp (SAIC) of McLean, VA announced March 18 that Constellation West, a provider of mission-critical technology solutions for the U.S. government, awarded SAIC a subcontract to provide advisory and assistance support services on the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Systems and Missions Support (USAMS) III program.
SAIC’s subcontract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total estimated IDIQ contract value of $72 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Omaha, Nebraska.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide advisory and assistance services within three major categories: management, operational and professional support services; studies, analyses, and evaluations; and engineering and technical services. In addition, non-advisory and assistance support services, which primarily consist of operations and maintenance services for information technology and telecom services, may be required.
“SAIC has provided expertise and personnel to support advisory and assistance services across all USSTRATCOM global mission areas for more than 25 years. Our previous work spanned more than 50 task orders and included strategic deterrence, SATCOM, modeling and simulation, software and web applications development, and combatting weapons of mass destruction,” said Mark Escobar, senior vice president and general manager of the Department of Defense Agencies and Commands Customer Group. “We look forward to continuing our support to USSTRATCOM under this agreement with Constellation West.”
