SAIC achieves “Awardable” status for contested logistics AI tool

On March 3, Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) announced that it has achieved “Awardable” status for the company’s contested logistics artificial intelligence (AI) solution through the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of Defense’s (DoD) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), data and analytics capabilities.
SAIC’s featured AI solutions are designed to bring an innovative approach to transforming DoD logistics capabilities for real-time data consolidation and structured classification – expediting mission-critical decision-making in challenging operational environments. Solutions available on Tradewinds are meticulously vetted by technical and acquisition experts to ensure they meet stringent requirements as they are used by a wide range of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and government agencies.
“Having the first of our SAIC solutions named as Tradewinds awardable marks an exciting milestone for SAIC to rapidly and responsively deliver commercial-grade capabilities to our Department of Defense customers,” said Vincent DiFronzo, executive vice president and general manager, Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group at SAIC. “Our AI, digital and data analytics solutions address the complex challenges of contested logistics, enabling data-driven decisions for a highly complex problem set. SAIC is proud to continue delivering cutting-edge technologies that enhance our nation’s military readiness and operational effectiveness for the warfighter.”
SAIC’s video for the Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE) Industry Challenge for CDAO Contested Logistics is accessible only by government customers on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. It presents an actual use case in which SAIC revolutionizes how the DoD manages logistics data and decision-making in contested scenarios. SAIC’s approach converts disparate data sources into structured, interoperable data objects, integrating them seamlessly with platforms like Open Data & Applications Government-owned Interoperable Repositories (Open DAGIR’s) Maven Smart System.
