On February 5, Procentrix released a new framework, Metis, an AI-enabled solution that helps action officers and analysts prepare documents in minutes. Like its Greek Titan Goddess namesake, Metis uses the “wisdom” held in authoritative data repositories to automate time-intensive research and analysis processes to prepare context-aware drafts for review and refinement.
“Federal agencies can receive thousands of inquiries and taskers each year that require timely and accurate responses across a wide array of topics,” said Phil Miller, senior vice president of corporate strategy. “Metis uses the corpus of vetted and approved prior works prepared by subject experts to prepare responses with a few clicks and with embedded source references. The efficiency and time-savings are significant when you consider the effort to analyze complex inquiries, locate relevant data, and draft consistent replies that can take days or even weeks.”
“Metis is our latest solution framework and builds on secure, scalable Microsoft Azure services. Utilizing approved Microsoft technologies speeds development and maximizes many of our customer’s IT investments,” said Tom Daly, vice president of technology and solutions. “Metis uses the latest Large Language Models (LLMs) and is easily integrated with authoritative repositories. While our initial use case is task and correspondence management systems, like those based on our ProTask framework, Metis can be applied more broadly.”
“Metis represents a huge leap forward in efficiency,” said Mike Hughes, chief executive officer. “Procentrix remains committed to investing in these types of innovations to address the evolving challenges of our customers, improve their operational effectiveness, and positively impact the services they deliver to citizens and stakeholders.”
