PAE names Mitch Lawrence head of security and counterintelligence
On February 23, Arlington, VA-based PAE has appointed government security veteran Mitch Lawrence as Vice President of Security and Counterintelligence.
In this role, Mitch will be responsible for the company’s security infrastructure and for ensuring that PAE remains optimally situated to support its customers’ security-related requirements. Mitch’s counterintelligence responsibilities include protecting business operations and mitigating the risk of loss of intellectual property and government/contract sensitive information, while identifying vulnerabilities to growing information threats.
Mitch has over 30 years of security experience in all facets of government special security in both the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Prior to his current role, Mitch served as the head of Security and Business Development for USIS Global Security and Solutions, which was acquired by PAE in January 2015.
“We recognize our responsibility to protect our customer’s information and safeguard our own systems against the increasingly vulnerable security environment,” said PAE CEO John Heller. “Mitch is a recognized security expert in our industry, and his appointment to this role is indicative of the aggressive and proactive measures that PAE has taken to ensure that we are well-positioned to support our customer’s mission requirements.”
