Overwatch Imaging releases ASO 12.0

On July 14, Overwatch Imaging announced the release of ASO 12.0, the latest evolution of its AI-enabled Automated Sensor Operator technology.

Developed in collaboration with operators and refined through real-world missions, ASO 12.0 introduces a reimagined user interface, streamlined mission workflows, and expanded autonomy capabilities designed to shift operator workload from human to machine, simplify mission execution, and accelerate the delivery of actionable intelligence.

“Mission requirements don’t stand still, and neither should the technology that supports them,” said Greg Davis, founder and CEO of Overwatch Imaging. “The features in ASO 12.0 reflect our philosophy of continuous improvement, driven directly by user feedback and the real-world missions we support. Software-defined autonomy enables a fundamentally different approach to modernization, allowing agencies to rapidly gain new capabilities through software, while extending the operational value of existing aircraft and sensors.”

ASO 12.0 is built around the theme “Accelerating the Mission. Empowering the Operator.” The release focuses on helping operators spend less time managing sensors and more time executing the mission through a modernized user experience, intelligent workflow automation, and AI-enabled decision support, the company said.
